[비즈한국] The ‘Weekly Shonen Jump’ Shueisha-authorized official licensed store ‘JUMP SHOP’ will hold a limited-time pop-up store, ‘Limited-time JUMP SHOP in SEOUL Vol. 3’, for 14 days from Wednesday, September 23, to Tuesday, October 6, at the Open Stage on the 1st floor of the Central City wing of Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam. The store will operate normally during the Chuseok holiday and substitute holidays, showcasing ‘original merchandise’ featuring authentic artwork from 16 series, including ‘ONE PIECE’, ‘SAKAMOTO DAYS’, ‘Kagurabachi’, and ‘Witch Watch’. This is the fourth JUMP SHOP limited-time pop-up held in Korea and the third in Seoul. This event is hosted in collaboration with Japan’s Shueisha, Benelic, and Korea’s Seoul Media Comics (CEO Oh Tae-yeop).

This third installment will take place at the Open Stage on the 1st floor of the Central City wing of Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam. Operating hours are daily from 10:00 to 21:00. The lineup includes 16 titles: ‘ONE PIECE’, ‘SAKAMOTO DAYS’, ‘Kagurabachi’, ‘Witch Watch’, ‘HUNTER×HUNTER’, ‘DRAGON BALL’, ‘NARUTO’, ‘BLEACH’, ‘Gintama’, ‘Reborn!’, ‘Haikyu!!’, ‘My Hero Academia’, ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’, ‘Blue Box’, ‘The Prince of Tennis II’, and ‘Kaiju No. 8’. Among these, ‘Reborn!’ is a new addition for this third volume. The products are centered around ‘original merchandise’ created based on manga scenes and illustrations drawn directly by the original authors, with a variety of goods prepared beyond the representative items for each series. Representative products for each item are being revealed sequentially on the official Seoul Media Comics Instagram and X (@smg_comic) accounts.
To prevent overcrowding and ensure safe operations, entry will be managed through an on-site kiosk registration system. Detailed information regarding waiting areas and entry with children will be provided separately through official Seoul Media Comics channels.
There are two types of special gifts. Every customer who enters will receive a ‘series postcard’ (16 designs in total) featuring the protagonist of each work, and customers who purchase over 20,000 KRW will receive a ‘hologram sticker’ (16 designs in total), with one random item given per person for each. Both specials are provided on a first-come, first-served basis and will end automatically once stock runs out.
A representative from the New Business Promotion Office at Seoul Media Comics stated, “The Open Stage where this third volume is held is an open, passage-style space connecting the Express Bus Terminal and Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam. Even those not visiting the department store will be able to naturally encounter the JUMP SHOP while passing by,” adding, “We prepared this to operate without breaks during the Chuseok holiday so that visitors during the peak season can fully enjoy the Jump works.”
‘Weekly Shonen Jump’, founded by Shueisha in 1968, has produced numerous popular titles, including ‘DRAGON BALL’, which is widely known in Korea. It recorded a circulation of 6.53 million copies in 1994. In the 2000s, titles like ‘ONE PIECE’, ‘NARUTO’, and ‘BLEACH’ were hits, and more recently, ‘My Hero Academia’, ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’, and ‘Blue Box’ have gained popularity, with currently serialized works such as ‘SAKAMOTO DAYS’, ‘Kagurabachi’, and ‘Witch Watch’ also drawing attention. In 2014, ‘Shonen Jump+’ was launched, expanding the ‘Jump’ brand’s reach with titles like ‘Kaiju No. 8’.
JUMP SHOP, which opened in Japan in 2004, is an official Shueisha-authorized licensed store. Its most significant feature is that it handles ‘original merchandise’ created based on the manga scenes and illustrations drawn by the original authors themselves. It operates 16 stores in Japan (15 permanent, 1 limited-time), and has been operating limited-time stores in the United States under the name ‘SHONEN JUMP SHOP’ since September 2025.
