[비즈한국] Smart wearable company Garmin and Woman Sense are collaborating on the 'Women of Endurance' campaign, which focuses on daily recovery and health management for women. The campaign aims to expand the concept of an athlete's 'endurance' into everyday life, highlighting the importance of acknowledging and recovering from the invisible fatigue experienced by women balancing various roles such as parenting, work, and caregiving.

As part of the campaign, Garmin Korea and Woman Sense will host an offline wellness event on July 8 at Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery. The event will feature recovery yoga, a wellness lunch, a sleep lecture, and talk sessions. International sleep coach Kim So-jung and yoga instructor Hyedong-t will participate as guest speakers to discuss sleep, recovery, and healthy lifestyle habits.
In this campaign, Garmin compares the physical and mental fatigue women face in their daily lives to 'invisible training.' It views repetitive housework, childcare, and work as processes requiring consistent endurance, similar to an athlete's high-intensity training. In fact, a 2024 study published in the international journal 'Sex Roles' showed that while women report fatigue more frequently than men, it tends to be perceived relatively lightly by those around them.
Applications for participation can be submitted until June 30 via the official Instagram accounts of Garmin and Woman Sense.
