[비즈한국] It has been confirmed that 8PM Entertainment, a specialized concert promotion company, has been declared bankrupt by the court. 8PM Entertainment had gained attention from rock music enthusiasts by hosting concerts for artists such as Yngwie Malmsteen and Guns N' Roses in Korea. However, the news that it has quietly gone through bankruptcy proceedings has drawn expressions of regret.
8PM Entertainment is a specialized concert promotion company established in March 2023. It hosted a concert in Korea for guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen in December 2024 and organized a concert for the world-famous American rock band 'Guns N' Roses' in May 2025. The Guns N' Roses concert received significant attention, with many media outlets covering the event. Since then, no further news regarding 8PM Entertainment has been reported.
According to Bizhankook's investigation, 8PM Entertainment was declared bankrupt by the Seoul Rehabilitation Court in May of this year. Accordingly, the company is set to undergo related procedures such as creditors' meetings and debt investigations.
The 8PM Entertainment website has already been shut down, and no new posts have appeared on its Instagram since the final update regarding the Guns N' Roses concert last May. In effect, the Guns N' Roses concert served as the company's final public activity.
Some have reacted with surprise, as the company had successfully hosted concerts for world-renowned artists only to quietly proceed into bankruptcy thereafter. However, it is generally understood that the business conditions for concert promotion agencies have been poor lately.
