In particular, the Indian Pavilion will offer a glimpse into the diversity of contemporary Indian art, while works from Mongolia and Eastern European countries will unfold original artistic worlds that reflect not only nomadic culture and the geopolitical characteristics where East and West intersect, but also the spirit of the times.
K-Art Emerging Artist Exhibition: From Art Appreciation to Purchasing Art Goods
The 'K-Art Emerging Artist Exhibition,' where visitors can encounter the works of budding artists who have been consistently fostered by the K-Art International Exchange Association, is also noteworthy. This year, a special booth selling art goods created directly by the emerging artists has been prepared, allowing visitors to purchase various items infused with the artists' sensibilities at reasonable prices. Practical art products such as postcards, posters, eco-bags, and keyrings that allow people to enjoy art in their daily lives are available, offering a chance to both support young artists and bring art into one's everyday life.
A curated exhibition by the group 'Sang (上),' composed of renowned artists active in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions, will also be featured.
Where Pop Culture Meets Fine Art: Special Exhibition of 6 Celebrity Artists
A special exhibition featuring six celebrity artists—including actor and painter Choi Min-soo, as well as BadBoss, Gilme, Outsider, Park Ju-hee, and Roda—is also expected to generate significant buzz. Having built their own artistic worlds in the field of fine art while active as icons of pop culture, they will showcase their passion for creation on the canvas, moving beyond the stage and screen. Their works, which project their individual lives and artistic philosophies, are expected to provide visitors with fresh emotional resonance and artistic inspiration. In particular, it will be a special opportunity for fans to discover another artistic side of their favorite stars.
Heo Sook, Chairperson of the K-Art International Exchange Association, stated, "This Eurasia Busan International Art Fair will be a special venue where, beyond simply viewing art, one can experience the diverse cultures of the Eurasian continent and encounter a wide spectrum of art, from emerging artists to celebrity artists and local creators." She added, "As over 250 artists are participating in person, it is also a prime opportunity to communicate with the artists and collect works at reasonable prices."
