[비즈한국] It has been confirmed that J-Hope, a member of the global idol group BTS, has purchased two units at the luxury apartment complex Aper Hangang. J-Hope recently made headlines for purchasing a penthouse unit in the complex for 12 billion KRW in full cash. However, a Bizhankook investigation revealed that just over a month later, he also purchased the unit directly below the penthouse. With these two units in Aper Hangang and two additional units in Trimage, J-Hope is a true "young and rich" celebrity who now owns four luxury residential properties.

J-Hope (real name Jung Ho-seok), who is currently serving in the military, drew significant attention last June when it was reported that he had purchased a penthouse unit at Aper Hangang for 12 billion KRW in cash. The duplex unit features three bedrooms and four bathrooms, with an exclusive use area of 83 pyeong (273.86㎡) and a supply area of 110 pyeong (361.09㎡). Records show that he signed the purchase contract on June 3, 2020, and the ownership was transferred from the trust company on June 10 of this year following the final payment.
However, the penthouse was not the only unit J-Hope purchased. According to the real estate register, J-Hope signed a purchase contract for the unit directly below the penthouse on June 23, 2020, and took ownership after completing the final payment on July 26 of this year. This unit is a single-story layout with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, featuring an exclusive use area of 70 pyeong (232.86㎡) and a supply area of 91 pyeong (299.68㎡). While the exact purchase price is unknown, current market prices for high-floor units at Aper Hangang range from 11 to 12 billion KRW. Given that no mortgage loans were taken out, it is estimated that J-Hope spent over 20 billion KRW in cash to acquire the two apartments.

J-Hope already owns two units at the Trimage apartment complex in Seongsu-dong 1-ga, which is famous for being a "celebrity apartment." With the addition of the Aper Hangang units, he has proven his "young and rich" status by owning as many as four luxury properties.
Aper Hangang consists of only 26 units in total and is considered the successor to Trimage as a "celebrity apartment," with residents including actors Kim Go-eun, Gong Yoo, and Soo Ae, as well as the couple Jang Yoon-jung and Do Kyung-wan. Aper Hangang was constructed by Hyundai Engineering & Construction000720, known for projects like PH129 and the Amorepacific headquarters, and was designed by architect Yoo Hyun-joon, who drew inspiration from the Acropolis of Athens.
