[비즈한국] 'Naeileul Saneun Saramdeul' (People Living for Tomorrow), a startup founded by Kwon Ji-hye (49), the eldest daughter of IS Dongseo010780 Chairman and founder Kwon Hyuk-woon, continues to report operating losses. Although CEO Kwon has supported the company multiple times through capital increases and loans, it remains in a state of capital impairment. Naeileul Saneun Saramdeul is a separate entity established by CEO Kwon, independent of IS Dongseo.

Since founding Naeileul Saneun Saramdeul in November 2021, CEO Kwon Ji-hye has been developing and operating the move-in construction service platform 'Hello Move-in' since August 2022. Hello Move-in is an online matching platform that connects new apartment residents with interior construction companies, providing services such as construction reviews, price comparisons, and online payments.
As it is run directly by a second-generation owner of IS Dongseo, the company drew industry attention, but it has yet to overcome its challenges. Naeileul Saneun Saramdeul recorded revenue of 130 million won and an operating loss of 350 million won in 2022, followed by revenue of 950 million won and an operating loss of 630 million won in 2023. While revenue continues to grow, operating losses have increased alongside it.

Naeileul Saneun Saramdeul started with a capital of 500 million won and increased it to 1 billion won through a 500 million won capital increase in July 2022. However, due to accumulated operating losses as of the end of last year, the company is currently in a state of capital impairment.
In response, CEO Kwon Ji-hye continues to inject her personal funds. Between November last year and August this year, CEO Kwon lent 700 million won in operating capital to the company on four separate occasions and also participated in an additional 200 million won capital increase last May.

Regarding the management situation, an official from Naeileul Saneun Saramdeul explained, “We are currently covering operating funds by borrowing money from CEO Kwon rather than receiving external investment. We recorded 3 billion won in revenue for the first half of this year, and the deficit has been reduced to the 300 million won level. Structurally, the company has started to become much more stable than last year.”
